Hello, is it me you're looking for?

Okay - two months.  Two freaking months, and I am so sorry it has been that long.  You deserve an explanation - especially if you do not follow me on Twitter or DeviantArt.

After the last post, I was told I was one of a number of people at my place of employment been considered for redundancy, and I had that process to go through.  That was one thing - then, just as I got that completed, my mother in law fell ill, and after a short illness passed away.  While that was going on, they made their decision - and this week I was put on three months notice.

So all that meant I was - distracted, hence the lack of updates here.  I'll try and do better.

Okay - that should not have happened.  But then, in my real world life, I was not expecting to be preparing for the possibility of redundancy, and the depression that caused.  No excuses, only apologies - and a bumper update instead.

Welcome to 2018

Okay - first things first.  2017 was not a good year for me, and I let things slip.  I'm going to try to keep to a fortnightly schedule for now, but thank you for sticking with me.

Couple of things to clear up first - like the rest of the Silent Night stories for 2017, and also a tale from Spandexman when Jessica Claus Gets Kidnapped.

And for the Pussycat Gang, the time for the heist of the century is near in Two Weddings and a Robbery.

A month is too long

and I am truly sorry, but real life in November was a bitch.  No excuses - I am just so glad it is the holiday season.

Of Dogs and Monsters

Well now - something I need to say first.  As some of you will have gathered from past ramblings, I tend to suffer from stress issues, and my writing is part of my way of dealing with those issues.  Recently, however, things have been getting on top of me, to the extent even my writing has been difficult and not the release it needs to be - and if you are looking for a reason for the gaps between updates, that's probably the number one reason.

I am trying to deal with that, but in the meantime please be patient as I try to get back on track.  Allow me this week to try and make up for it...

Starting with part 1 of Fresh Starts, as the ladies continue to celebrate Abby's birthday, but there are major revelations concerning Agnes, Susan and many others - not the least of which is the true identity of a major character in the world of Madame X...
