Oh Boy

I think you're really going to like this week's update - I hope  you do.

Firstly from me, the WABAC machine has been listening to my sixties music collection again - that's the excuse I'm giving for a tale of two young women who keep thinking Here Comes Tomorrow...

From the pen of Amanda Lu, the situation which led to A Spoilt Holiday.

Also from me, a tale of a shop assistant and a customer at an exclusive shop who gets Wrapped Up In Work - thanks to a determined robber.

That last tale was partially inspired by some recent discussions I have been having with Thomas Silk, the producer over at Bev's Knotty Silk Scarf Club about a number of issues - and as a result of that, he has kindly agreed to allow some of his recent stories to be re-printed here.

So please, welcome Thomas to our growing roster of contributing authors, with his tale of A Relative Problem.

And hey - why don't we add his site to the links as well?  Tell him I sent you.

More, God willing as always, next week, but until then I remain,

KP

The Lady Returns

What lady, I hear you say?  Why, Ginger Cavanuagh of course, courtesy of Ed Overton (and welcome back to Ed as well) in a tale involving Rest and Relaxation.

Not.

Meanwhile, a group of women are gathering for coffee and chat, but the coffee is still in the pot, and the chat is silenced by gags, as they await the Guest of Honour.

Next up - over at deviantArt over the last three weeks, I have been running an idea where I post a couple of pages of a story, then run a poll to see what happens next.  Did it work?  Judge for yourself as you read As Time Goes By.

Finally for today, a new link has been added to our collection.  We're proud to therefore point your way to the home of Deanna and Tracey, the Snowden Snoops and many. many others at Girl Detectives in Trouble!

More next week, God Willing, but until then stay safe, and I remain,

KP

A Day of Returns

We welcome back old friends today, starting with our horsey duo of Tara and Lucinda, who paid a visit last week to the Grand National.  As you can imagine, things did not go according to plan for the two ladies...

Havign said which, what happened to them is nothing compared to the events that unfold for Cassie and the others, as the return of old visitors means that she has to learn, very quickly, The Price of Friendship

And talking of old friends, I am pleased to say we have a new tale from the pen of Rayron D'Olier, as he presents a Screenplay: Elle's Life Experience.

More next week, but until then I remain,

Families

I have no idea how this happened, but in recent months the stories of John, his cousin Teddy and their families have proved to be extremely popular.  Equally popular have been the stories of Mark, his sister Kristen and their mother.  Well, this week you get both.

For example, John and Teddy have been dragged to the shopping centre by their mothers - but that then leads to some time Playing With The Family.

As for Mark, you may remember at the end of Motherly Ties he was bound spreadeagled on his bed, with tape over his mouth.  Well, you can now learn what happened next in Mark's Day.

We also have, and I very pleased to welcome him back, a new tale from the pen of Mordaca, called I Missed You Too.

More, God willing, next week, but until then I remain,

KP

ADDENDUM - I was saddened to hear today of the passing of Carmine Infantino, the artist who, it could be argued, created the look of the Silver Age of comics.  For many of you, however, this will be his most familiar scene...

What the heck...

I’m not sure what the weather was like last month where you are reading this, but for us it was one of the coldest on record - snow at Easter, I ask you...

Anyway, in March 8,179 visits were made by 4,922 people, with a total of 29,011 page views.  Interestingly enough (for me anyway) 52% were new visitors - which is a fairly consistent ratio.  A shout out this month to you if you are from Malta, Chile, Morocco, Thailand or Bulgaria.  On the home front, still no nearer to the place I grew up in, while in the United States - well, they are untied, with at least one visit from all territories.

Referrals were interesting, with a marked increase in the number from the TUG forum and dreambooks.  As for search terms - well, see what you think...

In the meantime, I’m plugging again my six eBook collections available through iBooks, The Nook or here.

Back Friday, but until then I remain,
