So let me deal with the elephant in the room first.  Yesterday, deviantArt in their infinite wisdom suspended my account.  I am appealing, but past history suggests that may not be great, so for now I need to consider how new stories may get posted.  But until I make that decision, let us see what I have today…

AAARGHHHHH!

I got a notice the other day some malware had been placed on the site.  I think I found and deleted it, but the Avast security software I use still says there is an issue.  It does work on the MS Edge browser, so I think it's something with the Avast software, and I am pursuing that.  Until then, sorry, but no updates.

Reports of my demise

 are only slightly exaggerated - the time betwene Easter and now have been filled with quite a few late nights of work, dealing with family affairs, and also a bout of something nasty - but I am back, and looking to get back to at least a fortnightly schedule.
