Bad News, Good News

Bad news first - I'm taking a short vacation, so there will be no update next week.

Good news - that makes this a bumper update week, with a few returns.

Such as Golavus, as he introduces you to The Rescue Club.

Also we have Jim from Michigan, and in his case we have anew tale of Ginger Cavanaugh, as she and her son in law attend The Wedding of the Godfather's Niece.

We also have a new story from Heidi, with her view of certain events in Road Trip as she recalls Heidi in the Old Country.

Now that Annie Kelly's night job as the Black Cat has been discovered, Madame X has an offer for her - an offer that leads to Rumours.

After the events in that tale, she also has to confront Sandy Richmond to have A Quiet Chat - as well as new arrivals, some expected, and one a little early...

I will be back, God Willing, a week on Monday with the review of May, and then on Friday 6th June with new tales, but until then I remain,

Long term plans

I guess if there is a theme to this week's update, it is that some long term plans are starting to come to fruition.

Take for example Mark Williamson, aka Jay Edwards.  We learn what happened during The New Neighbours from a different perspective In Jay's View - and their story will continue.

As for where Jay took the girls and Jennifer that weekend, there are plans for there too, as the boys Take Three Girls back to Wissenden Hall.

On the other side of the Atlantic, the Black Cat is about to make some major and unpleasant discoveries, but also receive an offer she cannot refuse, in a tale called Cat on a Cold Tin Roof.  We are building to a fairly major storyline for both Madame X and the Pussycat Gang here - I hope your patience will be rewarded by Jjelley and I.

Finally for today, have some tea with John Jacobs and here about the Cat Caught Short.

Next week, as always God willing, a new tale from Golavus.  But until then, I remain,

Pay attention today

First up, we have the second part of The Club, as Anna Roy meets her host properly.  As always, we have with the kind permission of ChaseBound links to the photos that inspired the story.

This weekend sees the annual Eurovision Song Contest - and I cannot let that pass unnoticed, so enjoy more songs under the theme of EuroHELP!!! 2014.

We also have more tales of things which are Not A Robbery.

Finally, two things in New York city.  Firstly, Susan gets an unexpected Welcome to NY, courtesy of the Black Cat.

And she's not the only one with an unexpected visitor, as the arrival of the mother in law of Diana de Ros leads to some uncomfortable revelations and a family crisis - one that leads to the Jaws of the Vice.

More, as always God willing, next week, including The Cat, but until then, I remain,

Start quietly...

First for this week, Tull would like to tell you the story of Marie's Motoring Misadventures, as he delves into the past of a character first seen in The Disappearance of WPC Drummond.

Next up, the Craig family are about to meet The New Neighbours - Mark Williamson and his family.  Thing is, Mark has a secret...

After the end of the school year, Abigail and Diana de Ros are in Europe on assignments for Abby - and she is very very tired.  So tired she dreams of Riverbend, and three Big Bad Little Ladies.

Meanwhile, back in New York, there's a new burglar in town by the name of The Black Cat.

And in London, Madame X has an assignment for Dominique - which involves one of the office staff gaining experience On The Shop Floor.

Please, read these stories - as they're the start of something Jjelley and I are building to...

Next week, as always God willing - the next instalment of The Club, and John Jacobs returns.  Until then, as always I remain,

Bye Bye April

April was a strange month with a late Easter and a break for me, so it’s not too surprising that the views number were down a little – we had 12,268 visits by 8,054 visitors and a total of 38.118 page views.  A big hi this month to those visiting from Nicaragua, Nigeria, Latvia, Uruguay, Rwanda, Taiwan and Serbia – welcome to one and all.  Still no closer to my home town, while the US remains constant.

Looking at referring sites, nothing new, but the search terms last month threw these up: -
