The rough with the smooth

Good morning, campers. Today I offer three new and one old tale of differing styles and severity for your perusal and entertainment.

Many of you said nice things about the first tale of young Heidi, so for those who wish a nice gentle tale I offer the story of Heidi and the Halloween Party.

On the other hand, for those who like their tales on the, shall we say, stronger side, may I point you in the direction of the second part of Bargaining Chip, the latest entry to the Chase Files.

Finally, for those who are somewhat in the middle, we have a new tale from the WABAC Machine set in 1948, called The Return Home. While there, why not acknowledge the fact I read way too may war comics as a kid with the tale of Prisoners Of The Enemy.

Happy St Patrick's Day!!

Yeah, we're early this week - I have work commitments tomorrow, and in a way it is appropriate to do this on a holiday.

For one thing, it allows me to share a new short story called The Irish In Her, as well as pointing you towards a tale called The Green Team.

We also have the next part in the story of The Netterton Jewels, as Coco and Soo take care of business with Agnes - and her granddaughter.

Finally, a new story from Tull as he relates the adventures of The Thrice-Bound Constable.

More next week.

The news from Japan

is as saddening to watch as it must have been terrifying to experience. I offer my thoughts and prayers for all those who have been affected by the events of the last 24 hours, be it the tremors or the tsunami, and hope that all my Japanese readers are safe and well.

I completely missed th enews of the Boxing Day tsunami - the first I heard about it was the next day - so it was a new experience for me to see this happening. Please remember the areas affected in your prayers, thoughts or meditations over the next few days.

Back in Business

Again, apologies for last week - real life is a bummer sometimes.

Anyway, let's start with the delayed story I had planned for Monday, called Late Withdrawal in the Chase Files. this is most definitely an adult story, so if you are offended by strong language or sexual scenes do not go there.

We also have a new collection of The Cat's Memoirs in Back to The Cat-Walk. In fact, let me point you to the story this is kinda sorta a sequel to, The Cat-Walk, as well.

Finally, from Mordaca we have a story called New Players In The Field, featuring Tombstone, The Duchess and some other guest stars.

More next week, including (hopefully) a new Reader's Request and the St Patricks Day tale.

A little diversion

The story I had hoped to get up today has been delayed, so instead I have a little interlude for you called The Dinner. This is actually an easter egg hunt, so listen carefully, I will say this only once.

The first person to correctly identify the stories that are referred to in this stroy gets a laurel wreath, a hearty handshake, and me writing a story exclusively fo rthem usign any characters or scenario they choose to tell me of. If you wish to take me up on this, post your answers as a comment to this.

Happy hunting.

I need to ask a favour

If anyone out there has skills in making banners for links, could they drop me a line please? I've been asked a couple of times, but my knowledge of HTML does not extend to that.

Mundo Apologies

I'm afraid I won't be able to do the usual update tomorrow - a combination of factors too mundane to go into means I have to do a skip week this week. With luck, I will have a story to load up on Monday, and we will be back on schedule next Friday.

On the other hand, a very happy birthday to Dottie - may you have a wonderful day.

First of all, a belated happy St David’s Day to one and all. We’re getting close to the spring now, so the flowers are starting to bloom, and the fashions are starting to change. More inspiration to people like me, I suppose.

Anyway, on to the review of the shortest month. Just shy of 18,500 page hits on 3,582 visits by 2,121 visitors, over half of whom seemed to be here for the first time. So welcome again, one and all, particularly those who looked in from Guam, Yemen, Jersey and Venezuela. If you are from South Dakota, Montana or Alaska we missed you last month.

I’m going to be adding a link back to the Bondage Awards site very soon, for those who like to take part and vote in them. In the meantime, welcome to all who have come from DamselTube and Yahoo groups – particular the Irvin Klaw tribute group that I recently joined.
