Is there anybody out there?

Nope, it's not a mirage, I have finally managed to claw my way out of the sewer my life had become, and now here I am, looking for new full time employment, but also able to finally start writing properly again.

The plan is simple - aim to update on the Friday or Saturday every two weeks for the next three months, and then go from there.

Can I also thank all those who bought eBooks while I was away - the sum of fifty pounds was sent to McMillan Nurses from the sales.

So, what do I have?  How about some more Mother and Daughter Moments?

Life Sucks

Okay - for those coming in late, my mother in law passed away, and I was going to the funeral while also looking for a new job.

That was the plan - and the plan was to do an update two weeks ago.  I got back from the funeral on the Tuesday - and on the Wednesday, I had a call to say my younger brother had died suddenly of a heart attack.

So - life sucks, and we're late again.

Hello, is it me you're looking for?

Okay - two months.  Two freaking months, and I am so sorry it has been that long.  You deserve an explanation - especially if you do not follow me on Twitter or DeviantArt.

After the last post, I was told I was one of a number of people at my place of employment been considered for redundancy, and I had that process to go through.  That was one thing - then, just as I got that completed, my mother in law fell ill, and after a short illness passed away.  While that was going on, they made their decision - and this week I was put on three months notice.

So all that meant I was - distracted, hence the lack of updates here.  I'll try and do better.

But I also have an appeal - any funds raised from my eBook sales at http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/KPPresents  for the next few months will go to McMillan Nurses.  I have new books there, including an Objects of Beauty collection - please visit and consider giving.

Okay - first things first.  2017 was not a good year for me, and I let things slip.  I'm going to try to keep to a fortnightly schedule for now, but thank you for sticking with me.

A month is too long

and I am truly sorry, but real life in November was a bitch.  No excuses - I am just so glad it is the holiday season.
