It's been a while

since we met up with Dottie, so let's make up for that this week as she takes a trip to London.  Some time ago, we published a story called DIY in the Chase Files, which ended with a hint that one Dorothy Carr may be calling soon.  Well, this is that visit, as we observe Dottie's Night In Leather.

In our other new tale this week, the DiD Channel has a special interview with The Gentlemen Robbers, as they go Behind The Mask - and see if you can find the stories they refer to.

Finally, and given it is Independance Day next week, enjoy again the tale of that name - as well as a suggestion from the WABAC Machine called Bound On The Fourth Of July.

More next week.

Looking back and forward

Last week, two guest authors looked at the world of Mister Tall and Mister Small.  This week, two new tales from me, two recommendations, and a sneak peek or two at what's coming...

First up, and with the kind permission of Golavus, we're going to delve a little into the Philips family history - specifically, her grandmother, who is the major protagonist in Marie's Medical Room Mystery.  The tale is set in 1964, and I hope you like it.  As I booted up the WABAC Machine for this, it also reminded me of another tale from that period you may enjoy - Sunday Best

Now, at the other end of the spectrum it has been far too long since we visited the offices of Objects of Beauty.  Let's rectify that as an old and valued client asks the company to help him staff his retirement home, with staff who may be rather unwilling To Serve...  The tale makes mention of a very special fellow company of the group, known to those who use their services as eSlave...

So what's coming in the next few weeks?  Well there's that sequel to Fly Away Home, and  a few other tales, but I thought you might like a sneak peek of one tale coming next week, featuring a lady called Dottie...

Or perhaps you would be more interested in a new Chase File story, The Jewel Job

or even how this relates to Madame X's attempts to solve The Riddle..

Find out over the next few weeks, but for now I am, as always,

O wad some Power

the giftie gie us
To see oursels as ithers see us!

Ah the beauty of Robert Burns, even from a poem titled To A Louse...

I've several stories near completion, but none ready to post today, so I thought for a change I'd offer two contributed stories giving different views on two of our more erudite residents - Mister Tall and Mister Small.

So, first up, my thanks to Amanda Lu for her tale of what happens when the Gentlemen Robbers interrupt a mother in the act of disciplining her daughter, in a story called Double Punishment.  Not the first time they have done some family counselling, as the story entitled Family Ties demonstrates...

Secondly, welcome back Golavus, and with him Sara Philips and the girls from the Carrington Girls Detective Agency, as we hear the tale of Sara's Gentlemanly Intrusion.  If you want to hear more from Sara, and Golavus, let us know...

I'm making a small change to the front page of the site over the next few days, so watch out for that, and I'll be back with new stories next week.

May Has Gone...

Well, here we are again  - the jubilee has passed, and another month beckons at KP Presents.  Before we go down that path, however, let’s look at what happened in May.

We had 7,780 visits from 4,308 visitors, looking a total of 29,823 page views.  This month, we make a big shout out to visitors from India, Finland, China, Iraq, Bangladesh and Slovenia.  On the home front, we’re getting closer to my home town, while on US Watch 47 states had at least one visitor.  The fight continues...
